With the suspect in custody, he tells Sam & Twitch a story of old Salem, witch trials and sorcery. According the suspect, there is curse on him and all of his ancestors that stems back from a guilty verdict centuries ago at the Salem witch trials. Sam, of course, is not believing a word of it, and locks the guy up, where, at the stroke of midnight, he suffers a heart attack and dies; exactly as was predicted. Sam goes to the witches that he suspects cast the curse, and finds out that the spell that was cast only returns a persons deeds in kind, whether good or bad. They then cast a spell of good fortune on Sam, but he continues to be a non-believer.
